Dr. B. Terry Seymour III, MD, MBA, shares his passion for giving back, providing life-changing surgeries, and compassionate care to those who need it.

"What does giving back mean to me?" As physicians, this is a question that we often overlook or take for granted. But the answer rings loud and clear to me: Giving is part of who I am and my career as a physician.

Throughout my career, giving back has meant many things to me. As a young physician running a small practice in Atlanta, Georgia, giving back meant helping those whom others would not treat and who could not help themselves. I occasionally see patients in my office or around the world who would otherwise have had access to only emergency rooms. I developed relationships with them, learned what they needed and offered some help. I am constantly inspired by the generosity and volunteerism of others.

I have been fortunate to be able to travel the world and help less fortunate people with my skills as an ENT Facial Plastics surgeon. I have fixed countless cleft lips, noses, throats and so much more. Today I am blessed to still be able to help many in so many ways.

I truly love what I do, and giving back means a lot to me. Please enjoy some of my photos below of procedures, and I will post more photos of cleft lip and cleft palate procedures from my previous collection.

Operation Face and Smile Restoration (OFSR), an organization created in 2000 by Dr. B. Terry Seymour, III, to repair cleft lips and palates worldwide. Dr. Seymour desired to give back to the economically underserved. Dr. Seymour, an African American, is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist/Facial Plastic Surgeon and previously achieved Certification Boards in Sleep Medicine. Additionally, he trained in Body Liposuction and Fat Transfer for other cosmetic procedures. He also earned an Executive MBA.

Re: Donation to a worthwhile cause that helps decrease Sleep Apnea, Obesity and

associated medical problems with resultant savings of Billions of dollars to the

medical industry and companies bottom lines. In addition, we endeavor to enhance

the patient cosmetically to further improve their self confidence. A confident person

is usually a happier person and an efficient/more productive employee. As a donating

organization, your company (foundation/you) will be known and in a unique position

in your community…helping to combat this national crisis.

As the medical climate changed internationally due to social/political unrest and the COVID pandemic, (OFSR) determined it necessary to pivot its goals. We are now aimed at helping provide therapy to this society and financially disadvantaged Americans who are obese with Sleep Apnea and often low self esteem and body dysmorphism.
Mr./Mrs./Ms., we know you and/or (the company) are interested in many problems in the world. In a collaboration with OFSR, you and/or your company will be among the leading edge in your community combating this national crisis. And, we will place your company(foundation/you) on our website demonstrating you as a group/person/company who cares about the people in your community and the USA.

Abnormal Sleep and Obesity are significant problems worldwide. In the US, one in five, 20%, 42-50 million people suffer yearly. A child’s learning is hampered, adults have increased (MVAs) motor vehicle accidents and often low performance at school and at work. There are many associated health issues: Obesity, Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation,Stroke, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes, Excessive Daytime Tiredness, Knee and Hip Replacement, I.C.U. (intensive care unit) and Rehabilitation therapy among others…Costing billions to the medical system and loses to companies productivity and their bottom lines, resulting in billions of dollar lost revenue.

What an amazing increase to the productivity in society and a company’s bottom line by resolving these unfortunate and horrendous problems.

As these medical and cosmetic problems are treated, people feel great an even more so, look great! (We aim to have them pay it forward).

In addition, significant research and scientific papers will be generated based on this particular population with these most egregious medical problems.

We at (OFSR) endeavor to save the medical system and society Billions of dollars as a result of avoiding having to treat these associated horrendous and complex medical problems.

You and your company will play a vital role in this effect! There should be a resulting increase in productivity at work, and an increase in the bottom line of the companies and patients due to a healthier work force with a decrease in medical absenteeism.

Further, OFSR via ENTFACIALPLASTICS has a surgical center on site with the medical office. This will reduce the total cost and improve the overall care for these deserving patients.

Inclosing, I would like to ask you for upwards of "any amount" of a donation for this incredible cause that can affect people around the world. To preemptively take care of problems is absolutely the best medicine.
